SUMMARY:Dreamers of Columbus Opening
DESCRIPTION:Photojournalist Sahar Fadaian and journalist Leticia Wiggins created Dreamers of Columbus to showcase DACA recipients living in Columbus. Sahar initiated this project to portray an intimate face of Dreamers that goes beyond the headlines we’ve all seen and into their personal lives. These images and words are meant to shed light on the difficulties Dreamer’s face in their everyday. Sahar takes candid photographs and together with Leticia captures the Dreamers words during conversational interviews to let them speak for themselves.
